2. Five-Year Warranty Period

TRADING AG LTD provides a voluntary five-year commercial hardware warranty for eligible TAGEX automotive diagnostic equipment purchased through tagex.shop.

The five-year warranty period begins on the date the device is first activated.

First activation means the first successful registration, setup or activation of the device or its supplied diagnostic software through the applicable activation process.

Poland is the primary target market of tagex.shop. This warranty also applies to eligible products purchased for delivery to another country that was expressly enabled as a delivery destination at checkout, unless a different product-specific warranty term was clearly disclosed before purchase.

3. Eligible Products

This warranty applies only where the relevant product page, order confirmation or product-specific warranty information expressly states that the purchased TAGEX product includes a five-year commercial hardware warranty.

The exact product name, model, serial number, package contents and included hardware are those shown on the relevant product page and confirmed in the order.

An accessory, cable, adapter, charger, case, consumable part or other item is covered only where it is included with the eligible product and the product-specific warranty information states or reasonably indicates that the item forms part of the covered hardware.

4. What the Warranty Covers

Subject to these terms and any more favourable product-specific warranty information, this warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal and intended use within the five-year warranty period.

A covered hardware defect may include a failure of an eligible device or covered component to perform its confirmed hardware function because of a defect attributable to materials, assembly or manufacturing.

The existence of a defect will be assessed using reasonable technical inspection, diagnostic information and the confirmed product specification.

5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this voluntary commercial warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

- improper, abusive or unlawful use;
- use contrary to the supplied instructions or safety warnings;
- unauthorised modification, disassembly or repair;
- incorrect installation or connection;
- accident, impact, crushing or dropping;
- liquid ingress, excessive moisture, corrosion or contamination not caused by a covered defect;
- fire, extreme heat or another unsuitable operating environment;
- an unsupported voltage supply, electrical system, charger, cable or adapter;
- power surge, unstable voltage or interruption during a critical procedure;
- ordinary cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality;
- loss, theft or intentional damage;
- malware, unauthorised software or unauthorised access;
- a vehicle, third-party device, network or external service that is incompatible, unavailable or defective; or
- failure to install a necessary update or follow reasonable maintenance instructions where that failure directly caused the reported hardware problem.

These exclusions apply only to the extent that the excluded event caused or contributed to the claimed problem. They do not remove mandatory statutory rights or coverage for an unrelated covered defect.

6. Vehicle Compatibility Is Not a Hardware Defect

A feature being unavailable for a particular vehicle does not by itself establish a hardware defect.

Vehicle coverage and diagnostic functionality may depend on the vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, engine, drivetrain, installed control units, regional vehicle specification, communication protocol, manufacturer security restrictions, diagnostic-device software version and vehicle software version.

Only functions expressly stated for the relevant product or confirmed for the specified vehicle form part of the confirmed product specification.

7. Software and Online Services

This hardware warranty covers eligible physical hardware. Software updates are governed separately by the TAGEX Five Years of Free Software Updates terms and by applicable statutory software or digital-content rights.

A software issue may be addressed by an update, correction, reinstallation, reset or another appropriate software remedy rather than hardware repair or replacement.

The hardware warranty does not guarantee the continuing availability of a vehicle manufacturer's independent server, security gateway, licence, subscription or other third-party service. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim, contact TAGEX customer service:

Email: zhangenxiang1160449530@gmail.com
Telephone: +44 7347 959475

Please provide, where available:

- the order number or other proof of purchase;
- the device model;
- the device serial number;
- the first-activation date;
- a clear description of the reported problem;
- the circumstances in which the problem occurs;
- the installed software version;
- relevant error messages; and
- photographs or video reasonably showing the issue.

A reasonable request for information or evidence is used to assess the claim and does not remove or reduce any mandatory consumer right.

9. Initial Troubleshooting

Before requesting return of the product, customer service may provide reasonable troubleshooting steps, such as checking connections, confirming the power supply, restarting the device, installing an available update or collecting diagnostic information.

Do not open, disassemble or attempt an unauthorised repair. Stop using the product if continued use may be unsafe or may cause additional damage.

Troubleshooting will not be required where it is unsafe, disproportionate or unnecessary in the circumstances.

10. Returning a Product for Assessment

If a physical inspection is reasonably required, TRADING AG LTD will provide return instructions and a printable prepaid return label or another approved prepaid return method for an eligible warranty return from a supported delivery country.

Unless customer service provides a different address for a specific claim, the return address is:

TRADING AG LTD / TAGEX Warranty Returns
44 Legon Avenue
Romford, England, RM7 0UJ
United Kingdom

Do not send a product cash on delivery or to another address unless customer service expressly authorises that method in writing.

Keep the carrier receipt or other proof of dispatch until the warranty claim has been completed.

11. Return Shipping and Import Costs

TRADING AG LTD bears the reasonable direct shipping cost for an eligible warranty return when the customer uses the approved prepaid return method.

TRADING AG LTD also bears mandatory customs duties and import-related charges arising under the approved warranty-return and replacement arrangements offered by us. Customers should not be required to pay undisclosed mandatory charges for an approved warranty service.

If a carrier or customs representative requests an unexpected payment, contact customer service before paying where reasonably possible.

12. Inspection and Warranty Decision

After the returned product is received, it will be inspected within a reasonable period considering the nature of the reported problem and any parts or technical assessment required.

We will inform the customer of the outcome and the proposed warranty remedy. If the claim is not covered by this voluntary warranty, we will explain the reason. A decision under the commercial warranty does not remove the customer's right to rely on mandatory statutory remedies where applicable.

13. Available Warranty Remedies

For a valid claim, TRADING AG LTD will provide an appropriate warranty remedy, which may include:

- repair of the covered product;
- replacement of a defective covered component;
- replacement of the eligible product with the same model or a reasonably equivalent model; or
- another remedy expressly agreed with the customer or described in the applicable product-specific warranty information.

The remedy will be provided without a warranty-service fee. Where mandatory law gives the customer a particular remedy or a more favourable right, that law applies.

We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer's agreement.

14. Replacement Products and Remaining Warranty

Unless applicable law or product-specific warranty information provides a more favourable period, a repaired or replacement product remains covered for the longer of:

- the remainder of the original five-year warranty period; or
- any minimum period required by mandatory law.

A repair or replacement does not restrict any separate statutory right concerning the repaired or replacement product.

15. Customer Data and Device Settings

Warranty assessment, repair or replacement may require the device to be reset, software to be reinstalled or stored information to be erased.

Before returning a device, the customer should, where possible:

- back up information they wish to retain;
- sign out of personal accounts;
- remove unrelated personal data; and
- remove accessories or items that customer service has not asked to be returned.

Do not include payment-card information, banking credentials or unrelated personal documents in the parcel.

Failure to erase data does not remove mandatory consumer rights, but TRADING AG LTD may reset or erase the device where reasonably necessary to inspect, repair or replace it.

16. Proof of Purchase and Transfer

The customer should retain the order confirmation or another valid proof of purchase. We may also use the order number, device serial number and activation record to verify eligibility.

If ownership of the device changes, any transfer of this voluntary warranty depends on the product-specific warranty information and reasonable proof of the original eligible purchase. This does not affect statutory rights that apply independently under applicable law.

17. Relationship to Statutory Consumer Rights

This five-year commercial hardware warranty is voluntary and is provided in addition to all mandatory statutory consumer rights.

It does not replace, restrict, shorten or exclude rights concerning defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods.

Consumers in Poland retain the rights available under Polish and applicable European Union consumer law. Consumers in another supported country retain the mandatory rights applicable to their order.

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, contract termination or reimbursement and may apply even where a claim is outside the scope of this voluntary warranty.

18. No Effect on the 30-Day Return Policy

This warranty is separate from the TAGEX 30-day return window and any statutory right of withdrawal.

The return and withdrawal rules, including the model withdrawal form, are set out in the Returns, Withdrawal and Refund Policy. Making or not making a warranty claim does not remove any withdrawal or return right that is still available.
